My wife and I recently travelled to Upolu island on Western Samoa in connection with a work assignment I had in American Samoa. While marvelling at the beautiful blue water and white sands of "Return to Paradise Beach," named after the 1953 Gary Cooper movie that was filmed there, we spotted this man surf fishing off of the lava rocks away from the more obvious natural wonder. We saw no one else for the next two hours--our definition of paradise.
