During a recent visit to American Samoa, I was invited along for a 14 mile round trip ride on this long boat out of Pago Pago Harbor. This 44 man boat belongs to Samoan High School, the only high school to have a boat. Other boats are owned and crewed by local villages. They are training for the annual Flag Day race on April 17th. Taken with an iPhone 4s.
