Looking east from the observation deck of a friend's condominium on Vallejo Street, I was able to photograph many San Francisco's most notable landmarks within one frame. This is an HDR image using three exposures taken two stops apart at the same time. Coit Tower is on top of Telegraph Hill in the upper left background; Chinatown and North Beach comprise the first ten blocks of the foreground, the Bay Bridge and East Bay are at the top right; Treasure Island is in the top middle; Washington Square is on the left edge of the frame. Perhaps most notably, The City's infamous fog is beginning to thicken on the horizon as it streams in from the Pacific Ocean through the Golden Gate.
